Our Living Well Team hosted an amazing Compassionate Christmas Event on Friday, December 9th. This was open to patients, clients, and their families who had a fantastic time socializing and enjoying the entertainment. The highlight was the outstanding performance by the AGE UK Choir and the lovely Brisbane Park Infant School, who mesmerized us all with their Christmas medleys. And, of course, Santa Claus himself paid us a visit!
Throughout the day our Creative Therapist, Lex, for offered crafting fun where you could decorate your own tealight holder or paint ornaments. One of our Complementary Therapists, Jo, for provided massage services throughout the day. Our amazing volunteers created a warm and caring cafe atmosphere between entertainment and some our our staff ran a tombola and raffle in which proceeds went to Furness Homeless Support Group
We cannot thank everyone enough for coming along and making it such a wonderful day. We hope everyone had an amazing time, and we can’t wait to see you all in the new year.
