Mother’s Day can be hard for bereaved people, especially with all the constant reminders we see and hear of this special day. It can create a renewed sense of grief for anybody not able to celebrate the day with their loved ones in the way they did before their loss.
We hope that anybody grieving the loss of a loved one this Mothering Sunday, is able to remember their special person with love and precious past memories. Grief is unique to each individual, we all have our own special ways in which we remember our loved ones. There is no wrong or right way to grieve.
We, at St Mary’s Hospice, will be thinking of you all this Mother’s Day and hope that through the tears of sadness you can bring a memory to mind that brings a smile to your face.
