Be Part of a Compassionate Community: Become a Bereavement Champion
This booking form is for the workshop on May 19th 2025 from 1pm to 4pm at the St Mary’s Hospice, Ulverston.
Grief is something that touches everyone—individuals, families, businesses, and communities alike. It can be isolating and overwhelming, but with the right support, no one has to face it alone.
St Mary’s Hospice is proud to launch its Bereavement Champion Initiative, offering free training and ongoing guidance to empower individuals, businesses, and organizations to provide compassionate support to those experiencing loss.
By becoming a Bereavement Champion, you will:
- Receive professional training to better understand grief and how to support others.
- Gain ongoing support from St Mary’s Hospice to help you feel confident and connected in your role.
- Create a ripple effect by contributing to a compassionate, resilient, and understanding community.
Whether you’re a local business, community leader, or an individual who wants to make a difference, this initiative equips you with the skills and knowledge to help others through difficult times.
We have multiple workshops taking part throughout the year but places are limited so book your place now.
