We had the privilege of welcoming the new High Sheriff of Cumbria, Sam Scott, before she embarked on her journey of walking the Cumbria Way and visiting various charities and community groups. Alongside Ulverston’s Deputy Mayor Jackie Drake and Laura Southern, Sam had the opportunity to meet our staff and patients and learn about our new Dementia Cafés. Prior to commencing her challenging multi-day hike, we offered Sam the chance to experience one of our complementary patient therapies to help her feel relaxed and prepared. We are grateful for Sam’s support and grateful for the visit. It was a pleasure to meet her!
