What will I be doing?
You could get involved in one or more of the following:
- Attend and assist at fundraising events – on stalls, serving refreshments, marshalling etc.
- Distribute advertising posters and leaflets to local businesses
- Empty collection boxes in shops and businesses and then recording and banking of the monies
- Assist at fundraising collections at supermarkets, shopping centres
What skills & qualities will I need?
- This role would suit someone with an outgoing friendly manner who enjoys meeting people and engaging them in our cause
- A good communicator
- Be confident to work independently and in small team
- Good knowledge of the area/neighbourhood that you are working in
- Time: Very flexible including weekends and evenings
- Location: Various
- Frequency: As & when
