The Orangery - New Café Area at St Mary's
Patients, visitors and members of the public will soon be able to enjoy our new café facility, opening Monday 14th June in the Hospice Orangery. The café, to be staffed primarily by volunteers, will offer customers freshly prepared coffee, complemented by delicious cakes, and other light refreshments.
St Mary's hopes that the café will become a daily necessity for visitors, patients and local café addicts - a comfortable place to meet your friends, to read a book, or for a bite to eat when out walking in the Hoad area.
The space, which has wonderful views of St Mary's gardens, provides the perfect setting for people to get together and enjoy some light refreshments.
So why not pay us a visit and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with one of our delicious cakes or scones? Or if you are feeling hungry choose a tasty snack from our delightful lunch menu. The Orangery menu is available to view in the downloads column of this page.
The café will open 7 days a week between 10am and 3.30pm. It is hoped to raise additional revenue for the charity, while increasing awareness for the role St Mary's plays in the community.
