Art Therapy

Our Art Therapy classes are not art classes. You do not need to be good at art and you will not be judged, nor your work interpreted.

It is a psychological service which provides a supportive and encouraging setting for you to imaginatively explore difficult feelings. It can help physically, mentally, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually.

You will be encouraged to experiment with a range of art materials in the supportive presence of an art therapist, and to use your images as a means of communicating and making sense of what is happening for you.

Through the process of doing, you will communicate intuitively, experimentally and imaginatively which provides an opportunity for reflection and discussion.

Art Therapy is provided in one to one and small group sessions.
