How does the St Mary's Lottery work?
What is the St Mary's Hospice Lottery?
The lottery was established in 1998 to support the work of the hospice. The lottery currently has over 7,000 playing members and has become a major source of hospice funding.
How does the lottery work?
The lottery runs on a secure computer software programme specially designed for the purpose. Each new player is given a unique draw number, randomly generated by the computer. A draw takes place every Friday and the winners are randomly selected by the computer.
What are the prizes?
There is a weekly prize fund of £1700 to be won each week! The top prize is £1000 and there is an additional rollover prize to be won starting at £200 and peaking at £10,000! There are also 12 other valuable cash prizes to be won.
How much does it cost to play?
It only costs £1 a week to play our lottery and you stand a chance of winning up to £10,000! You can purchase as many weekly draw numbers as you wish.
Where does my £1 go?
All profits go directly to supporting the hospice in providing specialist medical and nursing care for local people suffering from serious progressive illnesses. Every penny counts and you know you are making a difference.
