Recycle your old mobile phone and help St Mary's
Were you one of the lucky ones who got a new mobile phone for Christmas? Don't know what to do with your old handset? Why not donate your unwanted mobile phone to St Mary's to help generate vital funds so that we can continue to provide much-needed care.
We have recently started working with Zonzoo who work hard in helping charities raise money from mobile phone recycling. The founder Colin Armstrong-Bell believes,
"In addition to the environmental benefits to the planet and the financial benefits to our customers, we strongly believe in the social benefits of what we do. For every mobile phone that is collected by Zonzoo we give valued social benefits by donating an additional 5% of the value to your, and our chosen charities. Each year this can add up to millions of pounds."
For each mobile phone donated, 5% of its value will be donated to St Mary's. Simply drop your old mobile phone into the Hospice or one of our charity shops and we can send the phone away in the special envelopes provided.
