"A small mention in your Will could make a big difference to St Mary’s Hospice"

Making a Will is an important responsibility that can secure the future of your family and loved ones. To make a Will is to take a step towards ensuring that those you care for are properly provided for financially. If you do not make a Will and have no spouse or blood relatives, your entire estate will go to the Taxman.

When making your Will, please consider St Mary's if you are making any charitable provisions. The care we provide for local people is beyond price for those who benefit and your legacy will help us continue to provide that care.

The importance of legacies to our funding cannot be over-emphasised. They constitute one of our largest single sources of income, making a massive contribution to our ability to have a positive effect on so many people's lives.

Whether you have personal knowledge of the care we provide or just want to support those with a life limiting illness, you can make a real difference when you generously leave a legacy to St Mary’s.

Give a special gift please - it could help safeguard our future

How to leave your legacy to St Mary’s
Leaving a legacy to St Mary’s is a very simple  process - you can do it when you make your Will. If you have an existing Will you can change it by adding a codicil (a valid alteration). Your solicitor will advise you.

In the interests of your family, relatives, friends - and those good causes you wish to support - make the decision to contact your solicitor and make a Will now!!

Thank you
By the very nature of the giving, it is impossible to thank those who have left us a legacy. To enable us to thank you for thinking of St Mary’s, please let our fundraising manager know if you are including us in your Will.  That will give us the opportunity to thank you now and tell you how much your kindness is appreciated. Obviously we hope your gift will be a long time in coming...
